I was change my personal logo in 2020, but to this point, I only have a little free time to write this post to show the way how I redesign my logo.

If you’ve been following me for a long time, you will know my brand is often associated with the fallow deer (Dama Dama). So I want to make the new logo more prominent and recognizable.

Here is my old logo:

The old personal logo

Old logo with background color:

The fallow deer with negative space was not clearly visible. I will focus on it and keep the original identity elements, such as: the letter D, the orange shapes.

The first step: I will create the golden ratio grid. I shared how to create golden ratio grid in a previous post.

Step 2: At this step, it’s mostly research and development of ideas. Here are just some one.

Here is just a way for me to relieve stress during the hard work — just for fun with the grid
Develop logo idea

Step 3: Design the logo based on the grid

And this is the final logo

Thank you for reading my post. Because English is the second language, I would appreciate it if anyone could let me know if there are any errors. Thank you very much.
